Slowly he started to grow by adding the Mariah Boat line to his store, still continuing to consignment sale used boats for his many customers. Soon his clients started to want the option of an aluminium fishing boat too, Norm added the Crestliner boats.

Norm had always carried Parts and Accessories, but in 1994 Norm decided it was time to grow again! He had always worked out of the far corner of 448 N. May St., but when the main section of the building with the big showroom  became vacant he moved enabling Norm to double his service repair area, and still have room for his painting booth. At this time he became a Mercury Marine dealer selling Mariner outboards to power the aluminum boats.

In 1996 Norm expanded yet again.  He added Mercury outboards, plus started selling Starcraft and Smokercraft Boats. This move saw his business and staff double in size ( also his stress!!)

In 1998 Norm’s started selling Legend Package Boats, which has proved to be the best boat line for him and his customers. Legend Boats offer utility, all purpose fishing, fish ,cruise & ski boats, plus Pontoon Boats . Norm’s also started to consignment sell used snow machines.

Norm’s service area continues to stay busy and grow. We now offer a full marine motor (all brands) repair shop  area plus a full bodyshop that can handle repairs to anything fibreglass, aluminium and wood. Plastic repairs are offered on some items which can be repairs too. We also carry all the parts, paints, etc., needed to repair customers boats and motors. If you need it, Norm’s will find it for you, or figure out how to fix it or where to get it! Norm's Boating Centre will also service your marine needs on site, if our service schedule permits it.

It all started to come together for Cap’n Norm and in January of 2006 Norm’s Yacht Sales & Hull Repairs changed its name to Norm’s Boating Centre Inc.
